Fish Farming in India – Interview By SJ Inceptions
For the first time i am glad to present before you a video about Fish Farming in India.
After covering a couple of aquarium fish farm this video is about other species of freshwater fish used as meat fish and contribute a major role in fish farming.
The video contains some of the fish which may resemble to aquarium fish varieties but are other species of freshwater fish.
The video focuses on how the fish farm functions in india right from fish netting to fish catching to fish weighing.
In the first fish pond we get to watch pangasius fish which is somewhat similar to a shark fish but unlike aquarium shark fish the pangasius fish grows into a giant fish.
The pangasius fish has a great demand for its meat in india and hence many fish farms raises pangasius fish on a large scale.
In the next fish pond we watch the koi fish freshly caught after net fishing through the pond.
These koi fish are different from the koi fish kept as aquarium fish or pond fish and also has a good demand as a meat fish.
The neighboring fish ponds contain other freshwater fish like the rohu fish, catla fish and tilapia fish.
We also get to know about the fish food required for the raising of freshwater fish.
