I was having a really tuff time getting the nitrates down. I tried everything, even thought of doing a 100% water change knowing I’d have to cycle all over again. My one last attempt to save my tank was to ask my friend for help. A few people swore by this so I ran to Amazon to buy it. Within a few hours of application my levels came back down to normal. I’ve not had any spikes since but at least I know I have this on hand if need be. It’d be better to grab this before you need it, just in case
